I translated the script to Mandarin and acted as the language coach in rehearsal and on set for 3 episodes. I also coordinated with the script supervisor to provide them with the accurate English subtitles for scenes. Season 3 will be releasing March 2024 and I’ll be sure to include clips!

I helped the non-Mandarin speaking producers with casting to ensure we cast actors at the correct proficiency levels for the characters as well as subtitling the Mandarin in the film in English.

Mei, a Chinese auntie who owns a Chinese restaurant, is in the middle of a robbing. Little does the robber know, Mei is a Kung Fu expert and easily handles him. This short film is action-packed with stunts and was inspired by the anti-Asian attacks during the Covid-19 pandemic.
